ABOUT ME
Whether it was by myself in the woods of my childhood home, or on stage at a regional theatre, I've spent my whole life playing pretend. At home I would trees were giants and sticks were swords. On stage I pretend the world is an inspring, frightening, and hopeful place. Sometimes it's not just pretend.
My imagination has taken me far. It took me to Western Michigan University, where I played Jack in Into the Woods and Chip in On the Town. It took me to regional theatres like Famers Alley Theatre where I've played in RENT and Chip in The 25th Annual Putnam Count Spelling Bee.
The best piece of advice I got was for my first audition, where the director told me to "sing as loud as possible." I've taken that advice with not just onstage, but in life as well. Follow me on Instagram @Teddy_huff to see what that looks like as I start my life in NYC.
